It was my turn to be the Supervisor for the examination of the Web Designing. And on the 25th of the this month, I was scheduled for that. on that day I had to depart early in the morning, because we had to go to Anantnag, nearly 85 Kilometres from Srinagar City, and another 20 Kilometres from my Home to the city. I reached the University at about 8:20 am, and was designated to be received by the Examination Supervising Team of the University. We departed from the University at 9:10 am and then took our road to the Anantnag Examination Centre, Where we had to conduct two Examinations at two different centres. Unfortunately, We departed late, and thus got jammed in the traffic on the way, until our driver overtook some of the vehicles and when we reached the Badamibagh Cantonment Zone, We found that we were strucked for hours, then there was the Ministerial Convoy, We joined it and got out of the jam and on the way to our destination. We arrived there at about 12’O Clock, and then my duty began. We were supposed to stand duty for the Whole Examination, like we did but the Courtesy we received there was beyond my Imagination. Then was the time to depart for home and we did so at about 4:00 pm in the evening. And finally reached home at about 7:00 pm. That was when I accounted the details of the day any found that I was treated like on Officer of some high designation, which I wasn’t. Finally I hope to continue my Job as Web Designing Teacher, So that I could enjoy more favours from the other centres.
That's now one those boring days that I hate much. The days of working are such integral part of my day to day life that a day off makes me bored and miniac. And all thanks to Mr. Geelani of Hurriyat here. He calls strike and people like me suffer the delay in their work. I am now thinking that I was right when I opted for dual Graduation, and part time work. Study keeps me busy enough on the off days and work on the days on. I like, not just like but love to work. The days when I work are the best days of my life here in Srinagar, but the most precious moments are the ones that I had spent with my friends back in Kolkata. I miss those days and envy my friends for their group, for I have neither friends nor any kind of group so that I could enjoy. I miss my Malgudi Days. I miss my life, I miss myself. Hope that my Grad gets over soon.
